.. Been working on the South Field on and off for about a year now .. finally got it to a point it can be mowed and kept under control ..

.. I would love to get sheep, or goats .. but the thought makes me real nervous .. I haven't got a clue as to how to care for them .. the thought of Vet bills and illness would tear my heart out, and empty my bank account ... I think I'll start with chooks and see how that goes .. :?

.. well, dang it, already behind schedule .. :o .. so instead of building a shed, I threw this tent thingy up to keep the gear dry during the Spring rains .. working pretty good so far .. 'cept for burning a hole through it when backing the red belly in .. :lol:

... been busy clearing fields of 40 years brush and bramble growth .. got three of them done enough to keep them mowed so we don't gotta repeat the effort .. the bugs are getting thicker now, time to move on to next project .. building the shop/barn ..

.. south field, along the creek .. found a great spot here to put in a swimmin' hole .. :D

.. Today's project, turn a very sloped piece of land into a flat piece of land .. in order to build a barn/shop .. this is gonna take some time, but it's my main project for the summer ..

.. laying out the dimensions and checking the grade ..
