If indeed it is your birthday- this is a fitting time that I should respond!
Start with 2 parts cocao powder and 1 part sugar. Get the highest quality cocao and raw sugar you can find. If you can get roasted cocao beans and grind them fresh, that will be awesome. If you appreciate the difference between fresh ground coffee and pre-ground, you'll appreciate the difference here, too.
Mix the sugar and cacao together over heat (a rocket stove works nicely for this). Heat until the cocao starts to release its butters. You don't have to melt the sugar, but you'll see the cocao darken.
Once that happens add a tiny bit of milk- little by little- until a tight dough is formed. Just like bread dough. Turn it out on a board and knead it until it is smooth and elastic.
There you go. Cut it and eat it fresh.
As for your free samples... see Matt's comment about my George Washington.

Thanks Manny! Wow that looks almost simple enough that I could do it. I'm definitely going to give it try.
